Gigi and Pop-Pop arrived on Thursday; Grammy, Big Daddy, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Linda arrived Friday afternoon, and finally Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jake, Aunt Gail & Uncle Jim arrived on Saturday! It was a full house! But, we were so lucky to have our neighbors Jiri and Marie offer their extra bedrooms to our guests! Love you guys!
On Saturday the boys went golfing - it was an all day affair and it's my guess that some other guy fun was intertwined during that time! Us girls planned on going to DC to check out a bakery that Linda's sister recommended. Unfortunately that plan quickly got derailed when we got on 95 N and were sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. Ah, gotta love N. Virginia. Anyway, we detoured and went to old town Alexandria. We did a little shopping, went to the wine shop for some tastings, and walked around town enjoying the beautiful weather. We came home to check on the kiddos (they stayed home w/ Gigi, Pop-Pop, and Big Daddy) and shortly thereafter headed out to get our nails done. It was a fun day!
Saturday night we had a BBQ and Aunt Donna and Uncle Richard came over to join in on the fun. Brody was in 7th heaven with the car that Donna gave him. That entertained him for hours! It was so nice to have a mini family reunion! The only ones miss were Aunt Alisa and Uncle Mike. We missed you guys -- but, are really looking forward to your visit with us this fall.

Sunday was Ava's big day. She got all dolled up and looked absolutely beautiful. I was nervous about the dress fitting b/c I bought it about 6 weeks earlier and she has grown by leaps and bounds since then! But, it fit perfectly. Ava was an all-star during the ceremony. She made a little noise while Pastor Larry poured the water on her head, but after that she was all smiles! He took her for a walk around the congregation and she was as happy as a clam.
