Brody had a fabulous Christmas and of course was insanely spoiled by all! Although I don't think he fully understood what was going on, he did have fun ripping open the presents. The first present he opened was from Ms. Andi. Brody had been eyeing this box since Ms. Andi gave it to him on Thursday when I picked him up from daycare. I had made him put it under the tree when we got home on Thursday, and every day from then until Sunday he would go to the tree, pick it up and walk around the house with it. Surprisingly he didn't try ripping it open before Christmas. But, as soon as we came downstairs on Christmas morning that was the present he was beelining for. He opened it to find a doctor's kit! Brody was in heaven. We took out all the parts and he put the stethoscope around his neck, and started running around with the thermometer. It was too cute! It took some serious convincing to get him to put those toys down for a few minutes to rip open some other presents. Another one of his faves was the tricycle that Santa brought him. I'm a big fan of it b/c it has a handle that Mom and Dad can not only push but also steer the bike with! It's perfect for walks around the neighborhood or around the house. Brody's latest thing is to climb on it and say "push, push" -- the kid knows what he wants.
Gigi and Pop Pop were here to celebrate with us. I know they loved having Brody run into their room in the morning to wake them up!

It was definitely a fun filled weekend that went very quickly! Now we are looking forward to a New Years Eve Celebration with the Thomas family! Can't wait! I'll be sure to post a blog and pics of that :)
On a side note -- we are t- 6 weeks until little ms. ava joins the Fonvielle clan. We have our last soon scheduled for next week. I can't wait to see this little lady again! We are really in the homestretch now. Nesting has kicked in double time and all the major stuff has been completed. Pics of the completed nursery are to come!

It seems like the time just flew by for me not for you
