Happy Easter!!

Today we woke up early (4am early).  Poor little Brody was coughing like a mad man. It scared me half to death -- it sounded like he was having trouble breathing.  I gave him two puffs of his inhaler and brought him into our bed so I could keep a close eye on him. To be expected there wasn't much sleeping going on after that.  I was expecting to have to take Brody to the doc in the morning.  But, when we all got up the coughing subsided and he seemed back to his normal self. I'm wondering if it's allergies?

Anyway, we went down stairs and Brody was thrilled to see his Easter basket filled with candy and toys! What more could a kid want?! We did a small egg hunt in the living room. Brody had a bit of a  wipe out -- watch for yourselves:

We then went to church, where there was another Easter egg hunt!  I don't think I got it on video, but Brody seemed to figure out that if he just opened the eggs and took out the candy he'd be able to fit more candy in his bag!  

And here are the best pics of both Brody and Ava I got --- Please note that the stethoscopes have not left his neck in about 48 hours.  And the cute little smock dress Ava is wearing was a present from Great Grandma Mary Lou. Ava got sooooo many compliments on it at church :)

 Brody was very excited to go outside and play with his baseball and bat that the Easter Bunny brought him.  Ava was less than thrilled.

Brody tried to make Ava feel better by holding her hand. What a sweetie!
